Secret Plans

I found these Secret Plans left in a locked safe at Addenbrookes Towers. Nobody will mind if I share them with you, they deal with the logistics of moving patients efficiently round the hospital.

1. CONTROL UNIT. a nurse may manually programme in the destination and time the patient needs to arrive in another department, or they can scan the patients wrist band and all required information is downloaded from the hospital mainframe computer to the bed.

2. ARIEL so the bed may communicate efficiently with the hospital mainframe computer.

3. SPACIAL DETECTOR UNIT this gadget will enable the bed to navigate round both people and other objects en-route. The hospital mainframe computer will also know where each bed is so it may slow down or speed up beds to avoid crashes at corners and junctions.

MOTOR very important, to power the bed.
--------------------END DOC----------------

Thank you for the many get well messages and other comments coming my way. It is once again time to try sleeping.

In hospital this can be a great game, points gained for the number of night ward activities you may sleep through. One who sleeps the longest wins.
So far I have not won.

Where I am staying in the hospital

All visitors may approach by the new guided busway. This may prove to be the long way round if travelling by foot.

Another bit of random tropical art

Submitted originally via PaintBrush email, but I managed to switch off email blogging...!

I am sat in the middle of a field selling books at a summer fete. The weather looks treacherous, so far has held off. I have drawn this to cheer myself up - and maybe to imagine I was selling books on a tropical desert island.
